On Tuesday 12th April, Room 2 had their first session of story time. This session was taken by our RTLB (Loretta Reynolds) and went for about 15mins. We were very surprised at the children's enthusiasm and the way they all participated. We were also lucky enough to have three older students there to help who do story circle in their own classroom.
In our first session we did activities such as Mix up, passing the smile and nod, and saying our name and something we like. We also started to learn to take turns when speaking by using Room 2's mascot, Ratty. The children were only allowed to share their ideas when they had Ratty in their hands.
